Description
This sword is decorated with floral motifs and inscriptions saying ‘allah’ and ‘there is no god but God' in a popular technique of incised and repousséd silver alloy seen also in jewellery.
The sword was brought by a Yemeni delegation to the `Koninklijk Instituut voor de Tropen' (KIT) around 1993/94...
